Things need to happen before they can actually happen.
Take a lottery winner for example. When they find out they have the winning number sequence, everything changes before anything actually changes.
They start to feel excited. They start to feel grateful. They start to think about how and what they are going to spend their money on. They feel the feelings before reality has time to catch up, but they know it will. They take the wish as granted, no matter how long it takes to come to fruition.
Another example is seeds. You don't see a sprout the same day you plan a seed. In fact, for a while it can look like nothing is happening at all. But you keep watering the plant, understanding that good things take time, and you give that soon to be plant the love, compassion and attention that it needs to grow.
