When I opened my curtains and saw a steady stream of downpour, I took this as an opportunity to rearrange my schedule and postponed my morning run.
I opened my window to let some of that fresh, rain air in and it’s helping me feel more inspired and grounded despite the looming “less than ideal schedule” that awaits me after 10am.
When my schedule is filled with intense meetings, it creates a bit of internal conflict.
I am sharing this not to complain about my job, but to share an analogy that sometimes the big things and the little things aren’t so different.
While I would love to go on a run now and get my workout “out of the way” something tells me it might be more effective to blow off some steam after my workday. I also love the smell of fresh rain in my apartment.
While I would have loved to have gone full time in my business in 2019, that means my first product would have been a 2020 planner... LOL. The universe likes to laugh at our plans, particularly when they are rushed, or set out of fear.
The redirects can be upgrades if you choose to see things that way.
The same is true for other things you might be in the process of manifesting..
Your romantic partner
Your bank balance
Your half-marathon pace
Your dream apartment
The sooner you embrace where you are at, the more quickly your circumstances can change for the better.
This week’s questions are designed with that end in mind.
1) How can you fully embrace where you are at right now, even if certain circumstances feel unfavorable?
2) What would you miss about your current life if your life reflected only your desires instead of the way things are right now? Dig deep here.
3) Can you think of a time where things didn’t go according to your timeline, and it ended up better than you could have imagined?
Never settle, but accept to move forward.
