I had been kind of avoiding my journal lately. I had been really tired following the Summer Planner Launch. I poured my heart and soul into the Summer Planner and kind of burnt myself out in the weeks that followed. I’ve learned a lot from this process and have given myself time and space to come back into a place of creativity. I share this with you to let you know it’s OK not to be happy and busting at the seams with creative ideas 24/7. You can take a break. It doesn’t make you lazy or mean you don’t want it badly enough; it means you’re a human.
I’m excited to give back in a more sustainable way for the rest of the season. I am currently on a rooftop pool fully immersed in summer vibes.
In addition to the rescheduled picnic, I will also be announcing a paid creativity workshop in the coming weeks. There will be an option to attend virtually.

1) What small step can you take to improve your immediate environment / life experience? Do it right now! This can be as simple as making your bed, taking out the trash, or taking your laptop outside;)
2) Take a moment to externally express a note of gratitude to someone special; in the new moon journal we have a gratitude brainstorm list, but take it one step further and express gratitude externally to someone who makes your world brighter! Ripple effect baby
3) Do something new today; walk down a new street, order a new smoothie instead of your usual juice, start a new book, test out a new emoji… do something different! Declare this is step one of a powerful new chapter in your life
